The XII edition of the Campus of International Excellence of the Ebro Valley Doctoral Conference will take place at the Jaca University Hall of Residence from 17 to 19 June 2026. As in previous years, its main aim is to foster mutual understanding and communication among PhD students from the universities that make up the Iberus Campus, regardless of the research area in which they are pursuing their PhD.

[1] The workshops will be held twice, consecutively. Each student may choose two of the four workshops.
Workshop 1 (both sessions) will be delivered in Spanish. Workshops 2 and 3 will be delivered in English and Spanish (one session in each language). Workshop 4 will be delivered in English in both sessions, with brief explanations in Spanish, combining both languages.
[2] In these sessions, each PhD student who has chosen this option will present their oral presentation to the rest of the group. Maximum duration of each presentation + questions: 12 mins + 3 mins.
[3] In this session, those who have chosen this format will have 5 minutes to present their poster in English to the rest of the participants.
[4] The poster exhibition can be visited throughout the days, during coffee breaks, after Thursday’s social event, etc. We recommend making the most of these moments to learn about the work, exchange experiences, etc.
Óscar Orzáiz
Bachelor’s degree in Education, actor, and theater director. He has been directed by or received acting training from directors such as Miguel Narros and José Sanchis Sinisterra.
Since 1997, part of his professional activity has been focused on Public Speaking training, teaching courses related to oral communication and public speaking for various organizations. Since 2002, he has specialized in teaching at different centers.
At the Public University of Navarre (UPNA), he has been an external collaborator since 2002 and has conducted Public Speaking sessions in the faculties of Human and Social Sciences, Legal Sciences, Health Sciences, and Engineering, as well as Tesis en 3 Minutos (T3M) competitions, etc. He collaborates with UPNA in various university debate tournaments at both local and national levels.
He has directed and coordinated the UPNA Theater Group since 2006.
Eduardo Manchado
Product, service, industrial, and graphic designer with over 25 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, a BA Hons in 3D Product Design from De Montfort University (UK), and a PhD in Design and Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Zaragoza.
Since 2003, he has been a professor at the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza, where he teaches in the Master’s in Product Design Engineering and the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development.
His research lines focus on product design, social and emotional design, semiotics, and design methodologies.
He has an extensive research background, including projects with companies and experience directing academic works and doctoral theses.
Deepika Vasudevan
English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teacher, originally from India, and a PhD student at the University of Lleida. She holds a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Columbia University (New York) and has experience in developing English communication with participants from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
Her teaching practice focuses on strengthening communicative confidence so that academics and professionals can interact with greater assurance in international and multilingual contexts.
Agnès Ros-Morente
Associate Professor in the Department of Pedagogy at the University of Lleida.
PhD in Clinical Psychology, Psychopedagogue, and specialist with a degree in university teaching from the University of Lleida and the Autonomous University of Barcelona.
She is a researcher and member of the Psychopedagogical Guidance Research Group (GROP) at the Lleida delegation. Her research and teaching interests include emotional education, emotional management, and the improvement of coexistence, among others.
