OBJECTIVES AND CONTENT
The purpose of the Doctoral Conference is to foster connections between PhD students from the four universities of Campus Iberus, regardless of the research area in which they are pursuing their PhD. At the same time, it aims to serve as a forum where PhD students can present their work to a non-specialist audience.
The programme combines training activities such as workshops and courses with oral presentations, poster sessions (including flash presentations), lectures and panel dicussions. These activities aim to foster the exchange of experiences amongst PhD students at Campus Iberus, as well as to develop their communication skills and explore topics of common interest from different perspectives and in various formats.
The itinerary includes the presentation of goals and results of the PhD students’ thesis in the form of a poster and an oral presentation, with an approach designed to make them accessible to researchers from other disciplines. Participants will have the opportunity to develop the communication skills needed for this type of presentation during the workshops and courses offered throughout the conference.
The Doctoral Conference will be held in both Spanish and English. The content of the posters must always be in English and we encourage those opting for an oral presentation to do so in this lenguage.
Prizes will be awarded for the best oral presentation and the best poster + flash presentation.
You can view examples of the most highly rated posters from previous editions in the Gallery tab on this website.
