From its strategic objectives, we derive one of the chief assignments of Campus Iberus, which is the collaboration with and transfer of knowledge and innovation to the productive sector. In the specific area of scientific improvement and knowledge transfer, the Campus aims to create the necessary structures and reinforce existing ones to generate a model of efficient transfer of research results, fostering their valorization, strengthening ties with businesses and establishing entrepreneurial culture as a defining trait of the Campus.
At present, transfer activities are carried out at the universities that form part of Campus Iberus, you can access more detailed information on this on the following links:
Furthermore, three of the four universities of Campus Iberus, the University of Zaragoza, the Public University of Navarra and the University of la Rioja, belong to Grupo 9 de Universidades. The universities in this association seek to promote collaboration among them, not only in teaching and research activities, but also in management and services.
The universities of Grupo 9, being aware of the difficulties of transferring research results to the socio-economical environment have founded Univalue to aid the valorization and transfer of research results to the market. Univalue has two primary lines of action: on the one hand, to quantify the economic value of patents and new technologies and, on the other, to commercialize the products conceived and developed in universities.
