Every year Campus Iberus organises an integration conference in which doctoral students enrolled in any of the universities of Campus Iberus, preferably with at least two years of experience, are invited to participate. Research trainees from the Université de Pau et des Pays de l’Adour and the Colombian University of Los Andes are also participating.
The aim of this meeting is to foster relations between doctoral students regardless of their area of research, while offering various activities, especially aimed at improving the skills of researchers in training. Among the topics that have been dealt with in the different editions of the conferences are transversal training, the importance of preparing a CV adapted to the objectives pursued, the role of professional social networks and intellectual property rights in research.
The programme of activities combines lectures, panels and participatory sessions over two days of work. There are also sessions dedicated to the presentation by the doctoral students of their thesis work. It is important to emphasise that both the content and the form of the presentations should facilitate the interpretation of the work by researchers from other disciplines.
