The highest profile research structure in Campus Iberus is the Office of Scientific Coordination (OSC), which will be responsible for identifying, planning and organizing the research work in the lines of specialization of the Campus.
The activities of research and technological transfer of the universities of Campus Iberus are organized through different structures. Among them are:
- Research groups that result from the association of researchers who work in coordination in particular lines of research and carry out proven quality research activities
- The University Research Institutes, which are devoted to research, development, consultancy and scientific, technical and cultural innovation or to artistic creation
- Other Research Structures, such as laboratories, R+D+i centres, etc.
- The University Departments, that are devoted not only to teaching but also to the promotion of research projects and the support of the research initiatives of their members.
