Presentation at the University of Lleida of the “Action Plan to Improve Innovation in the Agrifood and Nutrition Areas in Campus Iberus”

The University of Lleida made a public presentation of the Action Plan to Improve Innovation in the Agrifood and Nutrition Areas in Campus Iberus on 30 January 2014, to an audience made up of representatives of the UdL, researchers and companies in the field.

The plan has been prepared within the framework of the Pilot Project “University Campuses and Economic Growth”, with financial support from the “la Caixa” Foundation.  Its goal is to promote economic growth policies within the strategic Agrifood and Nutrition sector, by involving universities, companies and public administrations.

The event, which took place at the ETSEA of the University of Lleida was attended by Albert Sorribas, Pro-vice-chancellor of Scientific and Technological Policy of the University of Lleida, Màrius Rubiralta, director of the Programme “University Campuses and Economic Growth”;  Jaume Sió, Deputy Director General of Food Innovation and Knowledge Transfer of the Generalitat de Catalunya, as well as by Óscar López Lorente, CEO of the Consortium Campus Iberus, among others.

The Plan has been previously presented in the other three Campus Iberus universities: University of Zaragoza, Public University of Navarra and University of La Rioja.
